A Breville Barista Express, model BES870XL (US 120 V), sold as refurbished — open box. It is an open-box or display unit, not a new machine. Before it ships it is inspected, cleaned, descaled and test-brewed, and it is covered by our 1-year warranty. It may show light cosmetic marks that do not affect how it works.
The Barista Express grinds the beans right before extraction with its built-in conical burr grinder, controls the water temperature with PID, and lets you texture milk by hand with the steam wand.
